Taita Taveta Governor has denied claims that he had defected from Wiper to Jubilee party.
Speaking during a church service on Sunday, he termed as propaganda what some NASA leaders were saying that he had switched parties.
"I am shocked that some politicians are abusing me behind my back and yet I have not spoken a word. Are they scared of me?’’ The governor asked.
Last week, as NASA elected leaders led by Senetor Johnes Mwarume held a series of rallies to drum up support for Odinga, Samboja was missing. Leaders have been questioning his loyalty.
" He (Samboja) has remained silent. We wonder why he is no longer interested in supporting the coalition,"Mwaruma had said during a fund raiser organised in Voi town to support NASA's campaigns on Friday.
Samboja has said that he doesn't have time for campaigns since he is busy delivering his election pledges to the people.
