Kiambu County Senator Kimani Wamatangi has lashed at the NASA coalition for taking too long to settle on a flag bearer for the August polls.
According to Wamatangi, NASA has had a lot of days to engage in discussions and deciding on who to field against the Jubilee part. He believes the discomfort from the coalition's affiliate parties is as a result to the delay.
"The NASA coalition has taken a very long time deciding on who to field against the Jubilee party for the August polls. This is the reason why there is discomfort in the coalition with each fraction drumming up support for their party leader," said Wamatangi.
Wamatangi further said that the recent remarks by ODM's Secretary General Agnes Zani was proof enough that the coalition had already settled on a flag bearer but was just wasting time in letting Kenyans know.
"The recent remarks by ODM's Secretary General are nothing to go by. The coalition is already settled on a flag bearer and should do Kenyans and their supporters justice by announcing him," added Wamatangi.
Wamatangi made the remarks on Thursday during an interview on Citizen TV where he also highlighted ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka demanding for an apology from ODM concerning the remarks by Zani.
