Homa Bay Member of Parliament Peter Kaluma has maintained that the opposition, National Super Alliance (NASA), is set for a big win in the August 8 presidential polls.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV Tuesday, the ODM leader said that the team whose flag will be flown by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has the numbers to deliver a win.

''The figures show that NASA has already won the elections, we are preparing for a big celebration after the elections,'' said Kaluma who based his argument on opposition's pre-election statistics.

''I think it's high time we stopped our 10 million strong slogan because by the look of things and based on our statistics and calculations we will scoop even more votes,'' noted the close Odinga ally.

Kaluma, however, called upon Odinga to concentrate more on putting into place anti-rigging measures to ensure that the polls are not manipulated in favor of any other contestant.

''I honestly think that NASA should now concentrate more on preventing any form of cheating during the exercise,'' he said.

Odinga who will be trying his luck for the fourth and probably the last time is set to battle it out with the incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta who is also keen on securing a second term.

Kenyatta is vying on the Jubilee Party ticket and is deputised by William Ruto

Also in the race is ThirdWay alliance's Ekuru Aukot and former teacher Mohamed Abduba Dida.
