NASA has joined tanks with Mungiki and Al Shabaab after they formed a national resistance movement, Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has said.
He said NASA leaders killed their political career after Raila Odinga withdrew from the repeat presidential race.
“NASA has officially joined hands with Mungiki and Al Shabaab after they changed from a political party to a resistance movement. Armed groupings are not recognized by the constitution and won't be given room to operate in Kenya,” the vocal MP said.
He said Raila wanted to take a shortcut to become a president.
“To become a President you must be voted by citizens. There is no shortcut to this process", he said.
He regretted that resistance will not make Raila a president.
"Raila should know that having a political seat is only done through the ballot, not forming a resistance movement", he said. He added that Kenyans want to move on and no one should hold the country hostage.
"We should start building the nation. We can't be held hostage anymore", Duale said.
