Kilifi South MP Mustafa Iddi and his Lunga Lunga counterpart Khatib Mwashetani have slammed the opposition's NASA coalition, saying it has no agenda for Kenyans.
Speaking in Changamwe on Sunday when they accompanied DP William Ruto on a voter registration mobilization drive, Mwashetani who decamped from Ford Kenya to Jubilee Party challenged Coast residents to re-elect President Uhuru Kenyatta's government, saying it will take care of their interests.
"I challenge you to list as voters and then use your votes well to elect a government that will address your interests," said Mwashetani.
On his part, Iddi who together with his Kilifi North counterpart Gideon Mung'aro ditched Raila Odinga's ODM claimed that the recently-launched NASA coalition has nothing new to offer to Kenyans.
He claimed that the outfit is just meant to satisfy the egos of politicians.
Jubilee Party is making inroads in the region that overwhelmingly voted for ODM in 2013, with the party's top brass camping in the region in a bid to woo voters.
