Deputy President William Ruto has slammed the Opposition alliance NASA leaders, claiming that the outfit has no agenda for the country.
Speaking in Kuria Sub-county on Saturday, Ruto urged Kenyans to reject the Opposition during the forthcoming general elections, calling on the residents to back President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid for the country to achieve meaningful development.
“The NASA team are sweet talkers without a tangible development plan. They have no manifesto for Kenyans. I am asking you to reject them because they are just opportunists,” he said.
Ruto further announced that the government will be putting in stringent measures that could see the prices of maize flour and sugar stabilize.
“We are handling the issue and the situation will normalise within the next one month,” he noted.
He accused NASA of politicising the high cost of living.
