Devolution Cs Mwangi Kiunjuri has said opposition, NASA has run out of ideas ahead of the August 8 polls, and accused them of fighting IEBC in court.
Speaking in Madogo, Bura constituency when he launched the distribution of relief food on Wednesday, Kiunjuri said NASA should concentrate selling its manifesto to Kenyans avoid seeking court orders to frustrate IEBC as it prepares for the general election.
“Running to the courts has now become synonymous with NASA and may soon be viewed by Kenyans as part of their manifesto. Their second manifesto is court cases,” Kiunjuri said.
“We are tired of these court cases by NASA against the IEBC. The coalition should give the IEBC breathing space to prepare the August 8 election,” said the Cs.
According to Kiunjuri, NASA's claims about names of dead voters in the IEBC register is aimed to delay election.
“It’s now obvious that NASA is sensing defeat and that is why they come up with all manner of roadblocks each passing day to ensure the polls do not take place,” said Kiunjuri.
He drummed up support for Jubilee saying the party has a manifesto that will address the concerns of the people.
He said president Uhuru Kenyatta deserves to be re-elected for a second term due to his good track record.
