Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has accused Opposition coalition NASA of giving the Abagusii a raw deal despite the community unanimously supporting the outfit during the August polls.
Speaking to The Star, the lawmaker alluded to the recent sharing of Parliamentary leadership positions that saw various MPs appointed to top House Committee posts.
Onyonka, who was reelected on a Ford Kenya party ticket further took issue with ODM party, which he accused of undermining NASA's coalition partners.
“We shall reconsider our position in NASA if ODM continues to mistreat us. We are equal partners in the coalition and we should be treated as such," he said.
"It is time Abagusii leaders thought of having their own party,” he added.
His remarks were reiterated by Borabu MP Ben Momanyi, who faulted ODM for taking all NASA's three slots in the powerful Parliamentary Service Commission.
"What ODM is doing is wrong and unacceptable. It ought to have taken two slots because of its numeric strength and leave the other for Wiper" he said.
