NASA deputy presidential flag bearer Kalonzo Musyoka has expressed confidence with the voter turn out in Tuesday's polls, saying its an indication of a massive victory for the opposition.
In an interview with the Daily Nation, Kalonzo said that NASA's victory has been sealed.
The NASA presidential deputy flag bearer urged supporters to remain patient and wait for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announcement.
''From the voter turn out we have seen in the morning and afternoon hours, it is clear that NASA is headed for massive victory,'' the Wiper party leader, said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Kalonzo lauded the IEBC for moving swiftly and taking action against some of its officers who were allegedly engaging in electoral malpractices.
The Wiper party leader at the same time asked the Wafula Chebukati led commission not to delay announcing the results.
''The electoral commission should announce results immediately it gets and verifies them to avoid creating anxiety,'' Kalonzo added.
Voting across the country started at 6am and closed at 5pm on Tuesday.
IEBC, however, said that voting continued in polling centers that opened late or experienced technical hitches.
