Opposition outfit NASA will pitch tent for three consecutive days in the former Western province barely a week after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tour.
In an explicit opposite of last week’s campaign itinerary of the two rival groups, Kenyatta will also head to Upper Eastern, a region that NASA spent two days to vote hunt.
A campaign itinerary from Head Secretariat indicates that the team will split into two groups during the tour to Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Busia and Vihiga.
On Thursday, the teams will traverse Trans Nzoia County before holding a mega rally at Kitale town. And of Friday, the team shall hold a series of rallies in Bungoma County.
With President Uhuru Kenyatta also expected in Vihiga over the weekend, the NASA team will also hold a series of rallies in the county before holding a mega rally in Mbale town.
To wrap up a busy week, Raila Odinga’s team will on Sunday visit Busia County, a tour which could ignite bitter rivalry between Governor Sospeter Ojamoong and his main rival Paul Otuoma.
