The two- Jesse Boateng and Joe Anokye-are expected to thwart Jubilee’s plan to rig the forthcoming general elections. The team has been tasked to ensure that the presidential results are delivered within 8 hours after the voting exercise has been closed.
Boateng has worked in different countries including USA during the ace between Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and President Donald Trump. The duo is expected to be supported by other experts from Germany and Ghana to ensure that the outcome of the presidential election is not biased.
The new development comes at a time when leaders of the opposition have threatened to boycott the August polls following the award of the ballot printing tender to a Dubai- based firm, Al Ghurair. Raila, also Cord leader, and his team argue that the firm has links with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s side, which is likely to compromise with the elections outcome in August.
