Barely a week after Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan issued Raila with a stern warning against his loss in the governorship race, the High Court has hit the former prime minister with another setback.
This comes after the court ordered the arrest of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Elections Board Chair Judith Pareno, as reported by Kenyans.co.ke ahead of the August General elections. Pareno has been accused of contempt of court and the security officers have been directed to arrest within 24 hours.
The daily also reports that a section of leaders who lost during nominations have been haunting her with the aim of revenging against her for the woes they have continued to suffer since the exercise was conducted.
The politicians have been furious since they lost during nominations, which has continued to drag the former prime minister behind as he looks forward to taking over the leadership of this nation.
Raila, who is contesting for the fourth time, is expected to deal with the problems being experienced in the alliance for the sake of his victory.
