NASA luminaries led by James Orengo have faulted the IEBC for declaring President Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner of the 2017 presidential race. Orengo said that Jubilee knew the commission’s stand even before the declaration terming the delay as a PR tactic.

“We had a Luhya Nasa theme song ‘Vindu Vichenjianga’ but unfortunately the words of that song have been rendered useless by IEBC decision. This is a disaster. You do not just hold an election for the sake of announcing winners and losers. The entire government machinery knew what the commission was going to do,” Orengo said.

The Senator also criticized Jubilee leadership for not having a history of making Kenya a better nation. He promised to take constitutional move apart from going to court.

“The people who constitute this government has nothing to show for the new constitutional dispensation. However, they are determined to violate it,” Orengo stated.
