Nyeri senator Mutahi Kagwe sensationally claims that the opposition team is keen to elbow former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka through the proposed National Super Alliance, reports the Star.
Kagwe says opposition leader Raila Odinga was behind NASA coalition as a calculated move aiming at watering down 2013 MoU with Musyoka.
The Alliance, which has been successfully pushed by Amani National Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi, is yet to settle on its presidential candidate.
"Raila is keen to have Musyoka locked out as a presidential candidate. He has done so by cleverly introducing the NASA coalition movement," he told a vernacular radio station.
He added: "He does not want to honour his MoU and that is why he brought Mudavadi on Board. I am however sure that he cannot beat President Uhuru Kenyatta."
On Monday, Musyoka who at sometimes this month said he was ready to shelve his ambitions, maintained that he was keen to go for presidency.
