Deputy William Ruto on Saturday took a swipe at the opposition, terming them a collection of copy cats and clueless leaders whose main aim is only to share power.

Ruto said that leaders of the opposition have termed their campaigns into platforms to discuss Jubilee instead of telling Kenyans what they will do for them if they take over the country, which he doubts.

“Opposition leaders are clueless because they keep on discussing Jubilee instead of telling Kenyans what they have for them. “Don’t be copy cats, come up with original ideas if you want Kenyans to take you seriously,” Ruto said, as quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.

The lawmaker’s sentiments were reiterated by President Uhuru Kenyatta who said that NASA under the leadership of former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga has now concentrated on propaganda instead of issue based politics.

“Opposition leaders are now thriving on propaganda and politics based on tribalism to achieve their selfish ends,” said President Kenyatta.

The remarks of the duo come after leaders of the opposition attacked them for allegedly failing this nation. The opposition has been claiming that Uhuru and his team have not initiated the projects they pledged when seeking power in 2033.
