The National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition which houses ODM party leader Raila Odinga, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and CCM's Issac Ruto has been described as a lie and none exisitence by political pundit Ngunjiri Wambugu.
According to the analyst NASA is not a party but a coalition that is mixed up given that based on the MoU the leaders signed, Wiper has its own sub-agreements with Wavinya Ndeti's Chama Cha Uzalendo, Charity Ngilu's Narc and Kivutha Kibwana's Muungano Party and its not clear whether the new parties joining NASA coalitions enjoy the same goodies as the the pioneer members.
"Then when one looks at NASA more closely it is even more confusing. First, the ‘NASA’ presidential candidate is actually running on the ODM ticket. This means the August 8 presidential election is not between NASA and the Jubilee Party, as we keep hearing, but between Jubilee and ODM; specifically between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila respectively," he said.Ngunjiri termed NASA as an non-existence party that is well crafted to cheat Kenyans because his even the MoU is not legal nor genuine."However, the NASA MoU was signed but the agreements are on issues that require us to change our current laws for the contract to be implemented. Then consider that these changes are not even guaranteed to pass," he said."This ‘NASA’ we speak about, to which judges even refer to, does not actually exist. Not at national level at the presidential campaign nor at county level in gubernatorial and senatorial campaigns. Not at local parliamentary and ward campaigns," he added.
Finally, Wambugu also said NASA is fraud because even NASA Co-principals do not associate with it beyond the publicity because neither off them is running on it on the ballot.
