Garsen MP Ibrahim Sane has asked residents to reject the National Super Alliance (NASA).Addressing residents on Sunday, Sane claimed that NASA is tribal and has nothing new to offer Kenyans. The MP claimed that NASA is guided by selfish interests and cannot be trusted to manage and run the country’s affairs.Sane stated that NASA cannot achieve what the Jubilee government has achieved in the last four years.“NASA has nothing to offer Kenyans apart from their continuous empty rhetoric,” said Sane as quoted by People Daily. The Garsen MP told NASA to back off Coast region saying the region will endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election on August 8.He said Jubilee has spearheaded key development projects in Coast and residents will vote it back.“NASA should back off Coast because residents have made a decision to support Jubilee in the August 8 general election,” he said.Sane appealed to residents to make informed choices in the forthcoming election by choosing leaders who are development conscious, adding that only visionary leaders can tackle the issues that continue to affect the Coast region.
