The National Super Alliance has been reduced to a mere shell by constant defections from its senior members rendering it ineffective, a former MP has revealed.
Former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba on Sunday mocked the coalition saying they would lose terribly in the October 26 polls since most of their reliable members had either jumped ship to the rival Jubilee coalition or quit politics.
"Look at NASA it is a shell.Majority of their members have in fact decamped to Jubilee. Look at the likes of Paul Otuoma, Hassan Omar, Alfred Khangati among others, they are now in Jubilee. They can't compete," said the former ODM secretary-general.
Ababu added that NASA leader Raila Odinga had, in fact, resigned to the fact that he would lose to president Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat polls and had taken to instigating violence in the country instead by calling for mass action.
He was speaking in Mombasa when he led campaigns for president Kenyatta's reelection Sunday.
