Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a has questioned NASA’s ability to unite Kenyans saying that the outfit in itself is a tribal.

Ng’ang’a claims that NASA does not have a representation of Kenya adding that Kenyans are not interested in politicians who peg themselves on tribes and ethnicity.

The vocal lawmaker said that NASA does not have the interest of other communities.

“NASA leaders should stop lying to Kenyans that they intend to end tribalism if they form the government in August because that will never happen,” she said on Thursday as quoted by the Daily Nation.

The MP warned Kenyans against endorsing tribal outfits in the August polls.

She instead urged Kenyans to endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election under Jubilee Party saying that the party has a full representation of the country.

Nga’ng’a said that Jubilee Party has spearhead unity in the country for the last four years.

Political analysts say that NASA will be more appealing if it gets more faces.

According to Peter Ngure, a Kiambu based analyst, NASA has Chances of winning the August polls if it reaches out to more leaders in other regions.

“For now NASA does not have a face of the country and that could work against it quest to unseat Jubilee government,” he said.

On Wednesday during an interview with NTV, ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi refuted claims that NASA is tribal.

Mudavadi said that NASA has reached out to more leaders from all corners of the country as it seeks to send Jubilee government packing in August.
