The National Super Alliance (NASA) is an alliance of old faces according to PLO. The former Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) boss also said it was obvious that Odinga was going to be the flag bearer based on his following Musyoka’s lack of full communal backing. He seemed to refer to his famous saying of a change of the forest with the same monkeys in references to KANU politicians.
“Let it be understood that Odinga was going to be the flag bearer. They are all old faces,” PLO said.
However, political analyst Barrack Muluka defended the old faces. He said that as long as their agenda is to liberate Kenya then how long they have been in politics should not matter. He gave examples of old folks like Abraham Lincoln who have remained as role models of good governance.
“I have no problem with old faces because even Lincoln was an old face,” said Muluka.
Lumumba also joked about Raila’s visit to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. The NASA leader was trying to stick his Joshua symbolism as the August 8, date approaches.
“Raila went to Israel to seek divine intervention at the Wailing Wall. He might go to Sinai like the real Joshua,” PLO said.
