Samburu women representative Maison Leshoomo has labelled the NASA coalition as colonial.

She has urged the Samburu community to back Jubilee party during the August general election.

According to Leshoomo, the alliance’s leadership has borrowed a lot from the dictatorial colonial system of governance.

She said President Uhuru Kenyatta deserves a second term.

"As a country, we are not ready to go back to the colonial times," Leshoomo said while on a tour of Samburu county.

She echoed sentiments by nominated Senator Ziporrah Kittony (Kanu) who urged Samburus not to disappoint former President Daniel Moi.
