Nasa should stop fooling Kenyans that it has no scorecard against which it should be judged upon as it has not been in government.
Political analyst Mark Bichachi has said that Nasa having been in charge of 24 county governments must also be held accountable alongside their Jubilee counterparts.
"The question NASA needs to answer is how are they better than Jubilee that they seek to dislodge? We know they have been in charge of 24 county governments and must equally be stock taking on their achievements as they launch their manifesto, just like Jubilee deed. Telling us that they were not the government is hogwash," Bichachi told NTV Today program on Tuesday.
Bichachi noted that if Nasa can't be held accountable for the county governments under its control currently, it shouldn't expect a bigger mandate to run the State.
"The Bible teaches that to whom much is given, much will be required. Nasa cannot expect us not to demand accountability from the little we have given them because it means if we give them more mandate, they won't still want to be held accountable," he added.
The analyst said that he expects Nasa's manifesto will be based on real thoughts and policies that can be delivered within a realistic time and realistic budget.
