Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has assured Kenyans the proposed National Super Alliance (NASA) will bring the change they have yearned for for too long.
Kalonzo said the August general elections will not revolve around individuals but primary issues affecting the country including runaway corruption.
He was speaking at the Bomas of Kenya when he joined other opposition leaders- Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula to cement the formation of the proposed NASA.
NASA is an alliance that seeks to bring together opposition politicians ahead of the August polls.
"The coming elections are vital for us as Kenyans. This time it will not be about individuals or personalities," Kalonzo said amid applause from the thousands of the in attendance.
"This time, more than ever, it will be about reclaiming the glory of our beloved country. No message has ever been any clearer...the time has come for all Kenyans to ready their voting cards."
He said the best weapon that opposition supporters have are their voting cards.
He encouraged residents from opposition strongholds to register as voters in large numbers.
"I urge you all to get registered as voters, we are on a noble mission of reclaiming our glory as a country and scaling higher heights.
