The National Super Alliance [NASA] will remain intact despite widely reported intrigues, ODM leader Raila Odinga has said.

On Wednesday, National Minority Leader and an ally of NASA co-principal Kalonzo Muysoka, Mr. Francis Nyenze, threatened that Wiper party could bolt out of the coalition should it fail to nominate Kalonzo as flag bearer.

But on Thursday, Odinga dispelled the fears adding that the alleged cracks were imaginary and a creation of Jubilee government.

“NASA is intact and that is a guarantee. We shall only field one candidate for August,” Odinga said during a meeting with Gusii leaders at Kisii Sports Club.

The ODM leader added: “Jubilee administration is scared of this movement and they are using all means to wreck us. Kindly relax and watch the space.”

Odinga was due to address Lake Region Health and Investment Conference which brings together counties from former Western and Nyanza provinces.

With only five months to elections, the opposition coalition is facing a major challenge of naming a flag bearer, who will face a much organized Jubilee team.
