Addressing journalists in Bomani, Machakos county on Wednesday, the former Vice President said his  Wiper party, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya parties are still united in NASA.

His statement comes barely a week after the NASA leader Raila Odinga held a secret meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta, one which is yet to be approved by Wiper, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula.

Kalonzo said Mudavadi, Wetangula and himself will meet President Uhuru Kenyatta once he jets back to the country from Cuba.

He, however, said even in the event NASA and Jubilee reach an agreement to work together, the opposition will remain intact arguing that working with the government does not mean joining it.

''The intention is that NASA will stay as NASA, you can be in opposition and work because this is one country,'' Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo said the meeting will be out of will, stating that they will not force Kenyatta into talks should he express unwillingness.

''Because we believe in constructive dialogue, based on what Raila has told us, myself, Mudavadi and Wetangula will discuss whether to hold deliberations with Uhuru Kenyatta for clarity. If he agrees the better, but if he refuses we wont force him,'' Kalonzo added.

The alliance, on Monday, held a meeting in Athi River to chat the way forward amid speculations of an approaching collapse.
