Party leader and Opposition alliance NASA principal Kalonzo Musyoka has dismissed reports by a section of the media that he is contemplating leaving NASA.
Speaking on Sunday in Kitengela when he led a public rally alongside NASA leaders Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, the former Vice President maintained that he was firmly in NASA, ruling out any possibility of him exiting the outfit.
"Propagandists, bloggers, and naysayers are saying myself and Wetang'ula are leaving NASA. These are shameless rumours that have no basis. We are in NASA to stay," he said.
"There are sycophants in NASA who do not want others to speak freely. These are the ones who have said that I was leaving immediately I presented my nomination papers to my party last week," he added.
He further indicated that he was ready to back any of the three principals if the alliance picked them as flag bearers.
"I will support Raila again because I have supported him before. I am willing to support Wetang'ula and Mudavadi. But if I am named as the NASA flag bearer, I am focused and willing to carry the mantle," he noted.
All the four principals: Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula are gunning for the Presidency on a NASA ticket.
