Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has dismissed claims that the opposition NASA is funding the ongoing doctors' strike currently in its third month.

"We are not supporting the strike, that is false and whoever is saying that is only misleadingKenyans," Mudavadi stated as quoted by the Nation.

Speaking on Thursday at the ANC party headquarters in Nairobi, Mudavadi further dismissed claims that NASA was trying to gain political mileage through the strike, accusing the state of defaulting pledges made to public servants.

"NASA is raising legitimate concerns that [the] government should address this issue. No one isdancing on anyone's graves," he continued.

A section of Kenyans on social media have in the past few days accused the opposition of fueling the strike by the medics.

The doctors are demanding the implementation of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) signed between them and the government.

They are also demanding better working conditions.
