Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga has issued the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), with a five days ultimatum, over the voters register.
Raila has demanded that the Commission makes public the final voters' register, by gazetting all the names of voters in all the olling stations nation wide.
Approximately, IEBC has marked 41,000 centres as polling stations to be used in the August 8 polls. However, the law had proposed that the number of centres be increased to 57,000.
According to Odinga, making public of the registrr, will ensure no vote is rigged.
"We are giving IEBC a notice. Up to Tuesday (June 27), the voters' register should be gazetted. A register of every station. We want to give it to our agents nationwide," sid Raila.
Speaking in Kiminini, Trans Nzoia County, during a Nasa campaign tour, the ODM party leader warned that the alliance would not entertain anything related to rigging of elections, in the August 8 polls.
Raila was accompanied by his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, who echoed his sentiments, and asked locals to vote out the incumbent article.
