The National Super Alliance has issued the latest update on the planned swearing of leader Raila Odinga as the people's president scheduled for December 12.
According to Raila's advisor Salim Lone, the swearing plans are already underway.
Lone says that Raila's swearing -in is meant to help prevent further polarisation in Kenya.
Nation reports that Odinga is open for dialogue amid calls to abandon the swearing plan.
The swearing has divided the coalition with one wing opposed to it.
Co-principla Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Party is againts the move on the grounds that the opposition can explore other ways to solve their issues with the government.
Several stakeholders have Odinga to shelve the plan as Attorney General Githu Muigai terming the swearing-in illegal.
