Opposition party Orange Democratic Movement has claimed that the Jubilee administration is launching illegal projects ahead of the August 8 elections.

Secretary General Agnes Zani has stated that it was too late for Jubilee to convince Kenyans who have already made up their minds regarding the voting.

"We have been suffering due to poor services while millions are pocketed by top government officials and people close to them," she said.

"Section 15 (d) of the Election Offences Act, 2016 specifically prohibits public officers from using public resources for the purpose of supporting a candidate or political party in a constituency or county."

Zani accused President Kenya of capitalising the incumbency to seek votes.
