NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his Jubilee challenger Uhuru Kenyatta will have a busy week, with the two set to visit 22 counties in total by end of the week.
With barely three weeks to the general elections, the two camps are busy trying to sell their agenda to the 19.6 million registered voters across the country.
After visiting the coastal counties of Mombasa, Kilifi and Malindi, Uhuru and his deputy, William Ruto, will today and tomorrow hold rallies in Kilifi, Mombasa, Lamu, Kwale, Tana River, and Taita Taveta.
Uhuru is set to travel to Elgeyo Marakwet on Thursday to attend the burial of former minister in President Daniel Moi's administration, Nicholas Biwott, where he is set to address crowds.
On Friday, the Jubilee pair will traverse city estates, before heading to Mandera, Wajir, Garissa Marsabit, Isiolo, and Samburu counties.
Uhuru and Ruto will the following day pitch camp in Nairobi before heading to Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Marsabit, Isiolo, and Samburu counties.
NASA on the other hand has been in Nyanza, holding rallies in Nyamira over the weekend before heading to Homa Bay.
They will move to Malava, Lugari, and Likuyani in Kakamega, and will also hold rallies in Butere, Navakholo, Matungu, Mumias East, and Mumias West.
They will then head to William Ruto’s Rift Valley on Friday, with rallies in in Nandi Hills and Elgeyo Marakwet.
They will on Saturday hold rallies in Uasin Gishu before winding up the week in Sabatia and Hamisi in Vihiga.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has put August 5 as the last day for campaign rallies.
