[Photo: Courtesy]The Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga, today (Sunday), takes his brigade to Nyamira.The alliance seeks to neutralise their rival's popularity in the county, few days after Jubilee Party Deputy leader, William Ruto, toured the county for campaigns.Ruto campaigned in Nyamira County, a region perceived to be an Opposition support base, July 13, where he sold the Jubilee Party development agenda for a reelection."We will continue connecting electricity to homes, markets, towns and schools under the Last Mile Connectivity Programme to enable wananchi utilise it for domestic and commercial purposes, improve security, extend learning hours and realise a 24-hour economy," Ruto said, as he engaged residents at Manga, Nyamira County and Nyamware, in the neighbouring Kisii County.Nasa's tour of Nyamira will see the brigade hold a public rally at Rigoma, after making roadside stopovers at various points.Nasa will tour Magwagwa, Ikonge, Ekerenyo, Kebirigo, Makairo and Magombo, before its main rally at Rigoma.
