National Super Alliance (NASA) has launched a new Paybill number to help raise funds for supporters who have died during protests.
According to the coalition, money contributed will be sent to meet funeral expenses for the victims as well as clear their medical bills.
The new Paybill number is Airtel Money No. 303101.
“#NASAAngelFund Paybill number is Airtel Money No. 303 101. Contributions to this will assist in meeting funeral expenses for victims of police killings across the country. We have victims from Nyanza, Western, Ukambani, Kisii, Meru & Nyandarua. Acc. No. Is your NAME,” said ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale in a Saturday statement.
Before the August 8 elections, NASA set up a Safaricom Paybill number (991444) with the purpose of raising funds for Raila's campaigns.
But days after the election, NASA asked their supporters to boycott all Safaricom products, making the paybill number nonfunctional.
