Speaking to journalists at the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi on Friday, Havi  said that  key issues facing the country’s election management must be addressed whether  Raila unites with Uhuru or not.

He said that the country risks plunging into a culture of electoral impunity and disregard to the rule of law if the NASA coalition abandons its course.

Havi said that Millions of Kenyans  are looking on both Raila and NASA co-principals to end the culture of impunity in the country.

“It is good if they have decided to work together but the most important thing is that electoral reforms and justice must be a priority,” he said.

The  Nairobi city based lawyer  said that the country has experienced a series of constitutionalism   occasioned by ignorance of court orders, killings and execution of innocent Kenyans, adding that the country should not sweep the serious matters under the carpet in the name of moving on.

The city based lawyer  warned  Raila and NASA principals against forgetting or failing to fulfill the promise they made to supporters and Kenyans at large.

Havi asked Kenyans to stand up and demand for electoral justice and reforms should there leaders fail them.

The City based lawyer also asked politicians in both the opposition and government to push for institutional changes in key constitutional offices for better service delivery to the country.

On Friday, President Uhuru Kenyatta met with Raila Odinga  where they agreed to work together.

The two leaders buried their political hatchet, stating that the interests of the country were much bigger than theirs.

The  Friday, meeting has drawn mixed reactions with majority of politicians congratulating the two leaders.

However, deported and self-declared NRM leader Miguna Miguna has  hit out at Raila accusing the former Prime Minister (PM) of betraying the NASA reforms agenda by meeting with Uhuru.

Suspicion  is also  rising on why Raila’s NASA co-principals Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka were absent at the Friday meeting.
