Speaking on JKL Wednesday, Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo took issue with Musyoka's latest request for a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta on his recent truce with opposition supremo Raila Odinga.

Amollo observed that being part and parcel of the National Super Alliance (NASA), the move will be a contradiction to a recent meeting held among the NASA co-principals.

"By again going for another meeting with Uhuru, Kalonzo will be belittling the Odinga-Kenyatta truce. He is part of the alliance which is led by Odinga and should be contended by the deal," Amollo said.

"Himself and the other co-principals have already held a meeting with Odinga on the content of the meeting and have since expressed satisfaction on his explanation. Therefore, going back to discuss the same topic with Uhuru will amount to counter speak," the lawyer noted.

In a press briefing on Wednesday, Kalonzo announced plans to mobilize his colleagues Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula to a meeting with Kenyatta on matters of national dialogue.

The trio has since rubbished the deal between Uhuru and Raila citing exclusion, advocating for another inclusive national dialogue.
