Deputy President William Ruto has asked the Kuria community not to gamble with their votes by voting in the National Super Alliance (Nasa) in the upcoming August polls.
Ruto noted that the Jubilee government has a track record of development as compared to the Opposition who he claimed had no agenda for Kenyans.
Ruto expressed confidence that Jubilee government will win the August elections because of its track record and urged the Kuria residents not to support ‘Nasa losers’.
“As a community, you should not gamble with your votes by supporting political parties that have no interest of the people of Kuria and Kenyans in general,” said Ruto.
Speaking on Friday at Mabera grounds in Kuria West constituency, Migori county, The DP rubbished opposition team for criticising the high cost of living pointing out that the situation being witnessed in the country is because of the prolonged drought. famine
“As government, we are doing our best to solve the problem within the shortest time possible,” he noted.
He accused Nasa of taking advantage of the ongoing situation in the country to mislead Kenyans.
“Our colleagues in the Opposition are opportunists who take advantage of such situations to mislead Kenyans that they have solutions,” Ruto said.
“They only thrive on propaganda and falsehoods with the intention of winning support from Kenyans.”
Ruto was accompanied by MPs Mary Emaase of Teso Soth, Mathias Robi of Kuria West and Nairobi Woman Rep Rachel Shebesh.
