According to the leaders, Raila had demonstrated greed and dishonesty while dealing with the co-principals in the alliance.

Led by Mavoko MP Patrick Makau, a section of the leaders from Ukambani said that Raila had gone against their Wiper Party in an act of betrayal.

The leaders warned their party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and said it was time he sought other sincere and honest leaders to work with instead of following Odinga blindly.

"A time has come for you now to make serious partnerships with honest people. Raila is not honest," Makau said.

"I want to be marked. Raila you are not honest. You have betrayed my party leader. You have betrayed me as your supporter," he added.

Former Machakos governor aspirant Wavinya Ndeti said that the NASA leader must move together with the other leaders they worked with in the NASA movement.
