Nyamira NASA leadership will discuss the fate of people's assembly bill following mounting criticisms from pro-Raila Odinga supporters.
Days to Raila's swearing-in, the regional assembly promised to pass the bill, an event which collapsed anyway.
"We shall pass the bill and even push for electoral justice. That is a promise and we shall deliver," said Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo.
Since then, with accusations that Governor John Nyagarama is secretly colluding with Jubilee administration, the leadership is under siege to pass the motion.
And nominated MCA Carolyne Mogere of NASA said the local leadership will hold urgent meeting in the course of the week to discuss Raila's fate.
"We are meeting within this week and among issues we shall look at include people's assembly bill and some of issues being pushed by our leader Raila," she said.
Also, Nyagarama is under pressure to publicly declare whether or not he is working with Raila's ODM, in which he belongs to.
