Nyamira County NASA leadership has called for an emergency meeting to discuss the planned swearing-in of Raila Odinga as People's president.
So far, the county is yet to pass People's Assembly motion, a move that has precipitated to cancellation of Gusii rally scheduled on Sunday.
"We are going to pass the motion and even push for electoral reforms because Uhuru Kenyatta is not ready for dialogue," said Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo.
Recently, the county leadership has been under attack from section of NASA supporters who accused them of supporting Jubilee party.
And Majority Leader Duke Masira, said the county leadership would sit on Thursday to discuss and pass the motion upon agreement from local leadership.
"We have reached Senator Okong'o Mogeni and the two NASA MPs. We shall have a meeting on Thursday to discuss the issue and subsequently table the motion."
Governor John Nyagarama, who is serving his second term, also defended claims that he has been working with Jubilee leadership during Wednesday's press conference.
