NASA is set to conduct a parallel rally to Jubilee and Uhuru inauguration on Tuesday at Jacaranda Grounds in Embakasi East Constituency.

Nairobi county police boss Mr. Joseph Koome outlawed the rally saying that he was never notified and suspected NASA to have ill intentions.

Bonny Khalwale however came out on Tuesday amid police threats and told NASA supporters to arrive at Jacaranda grounds for memorial service of their loved ones who lost their lives during NASA countrywide demonstrations.

Khalwale via Twitter said that Kenya has freedom of worship and association enshrined in the constitution which gives them a right to congregate at Jacaranda to remember their loved ones.

“Pursuant to the freedom of worship and freedom of association enshrined in our constitution, and in keeping with our African culture, we are shortly arriving at Jacaranda grounds 4 the memorial service of our fallen heroes of the 3rd liberation of Kenya,” said Ford Kenya Deputy Party Leader.

NASA leaders are expected at Jacaranda any time despite tight security enforced around the grounds by hundreds of police to prevent the rally from happening.

Meanwhile Jubilee leaders and supporters are currently at Safaricom Sports Center Kasarani Stadium for President-Elect Uhuru Kenyatta inauguration.
