A NASA affiliated MP in Nyamira County has differed with NASA leader Raila Odinga following his latest proposal that a task force will be formed to fight corruption in this country.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi Mogaka faulted Raila saying his proposal is meant to defend the corrupt officials in government.
“No task force will help in the fight against corruption. The same task force will defend the corrupt officials in government and Raila should not be allowed to give his fake proposal,” said the MP.
The Ford Kenya MP stated that corruption has been in the country and it will only end if Kenyan courts will do justice.
“Only the judiciary will help in fighting corruption by ensuring anyone found stealing public funds is sent to jail so that others with similar intentions to steal public funds will be scared and stop stealing,” he noted.
Kemosi added that the latest NYS scam suspects should not be released on bail until their cases are over since the same money they have stolen will be used to pay for bails and pay lawyers defending them in courts.
