A NASA affiliated MP has advised Kisii and Nyamira deputy governors ahead of the 2022 elections.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi regretted that Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi and his Nyamira county counterpart Amos Nyaribo have started drumming up support to succeed their bosses in 2022.
The wiper party MP said it is not a guarantee for the deputy governors to succeed their bosses.
“Nyaribo and Maangi should know the electorates will not vote for them just because they have served as deputy governors for Kisii and Nyamira counties respectively.
"They must sweat to get the seats otherwise they should prepare to go home because Nyamira and Kisii governorship seats will not be that easy for the two to win,” he said.
Momanyi stated the unity block the MPs from Gusii region have agreed to form should not be ignored because some MPs have declared interest to vie for the top county seats in 2022.
“We have able MPs who will battle it out for the county top seats in 2022. Anyone taking the unity by the MPs for granted will regret when time comes,” he noted.
