Two Opposition coalition NASA Senators have warned those who lost during the August 8 general elections against ditching the outfit for Jubilee.
The lawmakers, George Khaniri (Vihiga) and Cleophas Malala (Kakamega) warned that those shifting camp, especially in Western Kenya risk writing their own political obituaries.
"We are in the era of decisive politics. It's no longer a game of numbers. You are either supporting the ideals as proposed by NASA or the ideals as advanced by Jubilee," Malala said on Wednesday.
On his part, Khaniri observed that those who have since joined Jubilee from Western Kenya have done so as individuals and do not represent the community.
"Let the likes of Ababu and Otuoma know that Western is strongly in the opposition," he said.
He further argued that the region has been less receptive to the ruling party for neglecting the Luhya community for the last five years.
