The National Super Alliance (Nasa) will unveil its manifesto next week, Monday.
According to the Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga, the document will address matters that will improve the living standards of Kenyans.
Raila said the country’s economy is in a crisis due to the corruption in the Jubilee government. This crisis, he said, will be solved by the Nasa government if elected in the August polls.
“All sectors are in crisis, including the essential health sector, but we have the remedy. Nasa will revive agriculture and make sure basic prices of things go down,” said Raila.
Speaking during a Nasa campaign rally in Chuka town, Tharaka Nithi town, Friday, the opposition leader noted his administration will remove tuition fee in both public primary and secondary schools.
He further accused president Uhuru Kenyatta’s government of deceiving techers when it comes to their salary increase, noting that Nasa will solve the teachers problems.
“Jubilee has been cheating teachers on the issue of salaries [increase], but Nasa will pay them well,” added the ODM leader.
