Amani National Congress (ANC) MCA candidate for Masalani ward in Garissa County has died.
Ibrahim Abdullahi Muktar died on Wednesday, July 5, in a tragic road accident while he was heading for campaigns.
The news of the death of the popular aspirant has been received by shock by supporters of the National Super Alliance (NASA) in Garissa county.
According to Tuko, the late Muktar was travelling to Masalani for his campaigns when the tragedy befell on him.
The young politician was a lawyer by profession and had won the ANC ticket to vie for the seat in the August 8 General Election.
Residents of Garissa and leaders drawn from the region took to social media to send condolence message to the family of the deceased.
They expressed sorrow following the demise.
