According to the MCAs they stood by him simply because Raila Odinga endorsed him and they've been highly disappointed by his recent remarks.Led by Kiamokama MCA Mainya Kennedy the MCAs said Onyonka's move was a disgrace to all NASA supporters."Onyonka has shown the whole country and more so Kisii county that he is not mature politically we stood by his side during a mini poll only for him to do the unexpected," said Mainya.The MCAs, however, told him to forget about any elective post in the near future as they won't consider supporting him.Their sentiments come barely days after Onyonka said he recognises President Uhuru Kenyatta as the legitimate president contrary to NASA's stand.
