Matayos Mp Geoffrey Odinga [Photo/the-star.co.ke]Matayos Member of Parliament Geoffrey Odanga was Friday evening arrested in Busia for allegedly inciting youth to disrupt voting during the repeat presidential election.
The NASA affiliated legislator is being accused of mobilising youths to disrupt the voting process at Bwamani polling station that took place on Thursday.Mr Odanga was taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Busia for further interrogation.According to the police reports, the Odanga was being trailed by the police since Thursday before he was arrested at Busia Agricultural Training at around 6 pm.However, he denied the accusations and was released from the DCI offices after about two hours of grilling.He was directed to appear before the authority on Monday, October 30.
