A Gusii MP was forced to exit a local WhatsApp group after perceived NASA supporters accused him of threatening Raila Odinga.

Throughout the day, South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, who had raised damming claims against Raila, condemned the plans to swear-in Raila, on grounds that it is unconstitutional.

"Uhuru remains the president and I speak so based on existing laws. Raila's attempts do not add up and he is only inviting problems," he wrote on Nyamira WhatsApp group.

But he would later meet a series of attacks from NASA supporters who questioned his loyalty with some demanding his eviction.

"This MP has gone mad and he is a disgrace to people of Kenya. He does not deserve to speak or lecture us," said Allens Mocha.

Another participant, Jacob Abere said: " He does not understand roles of MPs and he is busy abusing Raila. We will deal with him without fear."

Not able to withstand a series of unprintable abuses, Osoro exited the group but warned that Raila's swearing-in will not go on.

"You can attack me the way you want but at times it's good to face reality," he said.
