A NASA affiliated MP in Nyamira County has attacked Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko for disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi said Sonko is not a leader who should be elected in 2022.
“Sonko’s decision to disrupt Ruto’s speech over the weekend is disrespectful to not only Ruto but also the head of state.
"Nairobi residents made a wrong choice electing a failure who thinks addressing people at rallies will make him to be a performer,” he said.
Momanyi called on Jubilee party to punish Sonko failure to which he will continue disrespecting top Jubilee leaders.
"Jubilee is the reason why Sonko won the seat last year. Jubilee party should punish him for his bad decisions because he thinks being famous among Nairobi residents will make him a good leader. I wish to remind Sonko that fame and leadership are two different things,” he noted.
He regretted that Sonko will achieve nothing by 2022.
Momanyi said Nairobians should consider re-electing Evans Kidero in 2022 because he served the people well during his term in office.
