In an interview on Radio Citizen on Friday, Osotsi noted that Odinga is not to blame for Wetangula's unceremonious ejection.

He instead said the Ford Kenya party leader should blame his Makueni counterpart and Minority Whip in the House, Mutula Kilonzo Junior,  who he says approved the ouster.

Osotsi noted that Odinga played his part by attempting to convince senators to have the National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal reinstated as the minority leader.

The MP further argued that Wetangula should blame Wiper leader and his co-principal in the coalition Kalonzo Musyoka for failing to talk Mutula out of the move.

''Odinga did all within his power to protect Wetangula from the senators and cannot, therefore, be blamed for the situation. He should settle the matter with Kalonzo whose leading ally in the house, Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, wrote to the Speaker to approve the ejection,'' said Osotsi.

The lawmaker argued that Wetangula's dismissal was inevitable, owing to his poor leadership.

''Wetangula was meant to go as he failed to convince even a single senator, including any of the seven hailing from Western Kenya, into backing him. He has only himself to blame for his ouster,'' added the lawmaker.
